Features: Jane Failing Hall is located on the north side of campus, near the intramural sports field, Human Performance and Athletics (HHPA) Building, aquatics center, Ad and Joan Rutschman Fieldhouse, Dillin Dining Hall, Riley Hall – Student Center, Starbucks, academic buildings and Maxwell Field. Nearby residence halls include Latourette, Miller, Grover, Campbell, Whitman and Pioneer.
Jane Failing is ÃÛѨÊÓÆµ's only pet-friendly residence hall, offering students the opportunity to apply to bring an approved pet from home to live with them on campus. To support both residents and their pets, the building features a pet wash station in the basement laundry area and a pet pantry in the first-floor study room.
Students interested in bringing a pet to campus should review the . Students whose pets meet the requirements can contact petfriendly@linfield.edu or reslife@linfield.edu to request a pet-friendly housing application. Pets must be approved by the Pet Friendly Housing Coordinator before moving into the community.
Jane Failing Hall features card-swipe access at both the front and back exterior doors, with a hard key provided for each individual resident room. The first, second and third floors are designated for female-identifying students and feature designated restroom facilities with toilets, showers and sinks. The third floor also includes a small lounge area with a sink, table and chairs.
The basement is designated for male-identifying students and features restroom facilities with toilets, urinals, showers and sinks, as well as an additional individual bathroom.
The basement includes a communal kitchen and laundry facilities. The first floor features a study room and a lounge with a mounted TV, board games, ping pong table and comfortable furniture. Each room is equipped with wireless internet access and Xfinity on Campus, providing residents with access to streaming movies, shows and live sports.
