Features: Mahaffey Hall is located on the south side of campus, near Dillin Dining Hall, Del Smith Stadium, Maxwell Field, Roy Helser Field, Withnell Commons, Nicholson Library, Vivian Bull Music Center, Ford Hall (Theatre) and the Soccer Complex. Nearby residence halls include Frerichs, Hewitt, Terrell, Elkinton, Larsell and Anderson.
Mahaffey Hall offers gender-inclusive housing on the entire first floor, providing a welcoming residential option for students of any gender identity. The first floor features a gender-inclusive restroom with toilets, showers and sinks that is available for residents of any gender identity. Two additional individual gender-inclusive restrooms are located along the Residence Life and Housing hallway.
The second and third floors offer co-ed housing by room, meaning students of different genders may live on the same floor while maintaining individual room assignments. Each wing has designated restroom facilities for male- and female-identifying residents, including toilets, showers, sinks and urinals in the men's restroom.
Mahaffey Hall features card-swipe access at both the front and side exterior doors, with a hard key provided for each individual resident room. The building is also one of ÃÛѨÊÓƵ's most accessible residence halls, featuring a centrally located elevator and wheelchair-accessible restrooms on the first and third floors.
The first floor includes a communal kitchen and lounge with a mounted TV, board games and comfortable furniture. The basement houses the laundry facilities, which are accessible by both staircase and elevator. The first floor is also home to the Residence Life and Housing Office in Suite 127.
Each room is equipped with wireless internet access and Xfinity on Campus, providing residents with access to streaming movies, shows and live sports.
