Explore ÃÛѨÊÓƵ's Residence Halls and Suburbs
Residence halls
As a residential campus, students have access to a variety of residence halls and apartment options, allowing them to choose a living environment that fits their needs. All students have a three year live on requirement. For the first two years, residents reside in our residence halls, and third year, and optionally fourth, can reside in our apartment complexes. ÃÛѨÊÓƵ encourages students to experience the benefits of living on campus throughout their college experience. All campus housing is designed to provide the comforts of home while keeping students connected to campus, with most classes, the library, dining facilities, and athletic spaces located within a 10-minute walk.
LIVING AND LEARNING AT LINFIELD UNIVERSITY
As a result of their experience in University Housing, residents will cultivate understanding of and develop skills in the following three areas: well-being, identity and community, and cultural competence. Through developing these areas of growth, residents will move on from ÃÛѨÊÓƵ prepared for living in community throughout adulthood.
As a result of living in University Housing and participating in the Residential Curriculum, residents will be able to:
- Foster belonging and inclusion by celebrating and demonstrating respect for cultures, identities, experiences, and social backgrounds, while recognizing how these perspectives shape both individual and community experiences.
- Engage in personal growth by reflecting on their strengths, values, and areas for development, and understanding how their experiences within the residential community contribute to their learning, leadership, and overall success.
- Demonstrate care and support by employing skills that promote holistic well-being, including practicing self-care, utilizing healthy coping strategies, building supportive relationships, and connecting themselves and others to appropriate resources.
